Hey! I would like to personally welcome you to the Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma (ALD|PES) website. My name is Denise Enrique and I am thrilled to serve as this year’s President. ALD|PES at UCLA is an organization that integrates two independent national academic honors societies in order to maximize opportunities for students to apply for scholarships, attend national conferences, engage in community service activities, and receive recognition from the university and national offices.

 

ALD|PES recognizes scholastic achievement in undergraduate students, beginning from first year onward. We aim to encourage and reward academic excellence and assist students in developing meaningful goals in society through emphasizing community engagement and professional development. As members of ALD|PES, you will have the opportunity to network with many other highly motivated students through academic, community service, and social events. Leadership opportunities are available to students interested in greater involvement immediately upon induction. 

 

Upon joining ALD|PES three years ago, I met many wonderful, high-achieving, passionate people from a wide diversity of fields and made many close friends. It was through ALD|PES that I found a community that supported and guided me through challenges and celebrated with me through my successes. I know ALD|PES will do the same for you. It has been a wonderful experience to be a part of the ALD|PES family, thus far, and I sincerely hope you consider joining us.
