COMMITTEES

Be a part of planning events and opportunities for hundreds of general ALD|PES members! All committee meetings will be on Zoom where you will have the opportunity to work with your committee chairs.

Some of the benefits of joining a committee include:

  • Networking with current board members as well as general members

  • Learning the ins and outs of planning and executing events, socials, panels, and/or workshops

  • Getting an inside look into potential officer positions to apply for in Spring Quarter

Social Affairs Committee

You will be working closer with the Social Affairs officers to plan social events such as picnics, board game nights and pizza parties.

Community Service Committee

You will be coordinating with other club organizations on campus to plan joint activities. You will work with committee members to delegate tasks and to ensure effective, enjoyable activities to help the community.

Professional Development

You will help plan academic events such as resume workshops, internship recruiter webinars, interview prep courses, essay tips, graduate school application seminars and/or research workshops. Contact employers to recruit them for workshops and panels.

Public Relations

You will help create graphics to promote professional, social and community events. Help maintain the ALD|PES website, LinkedIn, GroupMe and Instagram. You will create innovative marketing activities to make the chapter more visible on campus.
